Banks Mill tenant Tom Hawk recently applied for the chance to become part of BAFTA Connect, a new UK-wide and North America tier of membership forming part of BAFTA’s ongoing mission that promises to strengthen and support future creative leaders in the film, games and television industries.
Connect membership is open to talented emerging and mid-career professionals working within the film, games or television industries. Applicants display a promising career trajectory and the beginnings of a recognised body of work, an advocate for creative talent and storytelling and are committed to inclusion and progressive industry practice.
Members benefit from a tailored development programme of workshops and events as well as structured peer-to-peer networking, and full-day conferences aimed at developing craft and understanding of best practice and industry landscape. Tom’s application to become a part of this amazing membership programme has been a success!
"I decided to apply earlier this year when they opened up applications because I now have the necessary industry credits required to be able to apply for BAFTA Connect Membership.
For the next 3 years I am part of their emerging talent program and will have access to monthly workshops, events, networking opportunities and access to BAFTA 195 Piccadilly in London.
