This December we will be welcoming four new tenants to Banks Mill.
Kristen Neilson is a painter and multimedia artist who is looking to get back into her creative endeavours. Her aim is to focus on her painting practice and reconnect with her creative flow on larger scale works without inhibition. Find out more about Kristen here; https://linktr.ee/kristenneilson
Next, we have Tom Hawks. A musician and composer, Tom writes bespoke music for films, video games and television. Specialising in writing powerful cinematic music and experimenting with world instruments Tom recently co-scored Ascendant Studio’s debut AAA video game “IMMORTALS OF AVEUM” which was published by EA Originals, and helmed the music score for the upcoming feature film “PSYCHE”. Jen Mason, a portrait photographer based in the East Midlands. Over the years as a photographer, Jen has developed her art and created her own unique style, photographing weddings, events, portraits, and fashion. Finally, we have Alan Goodwin a freehand embroidery artist with a Bachelor's degree in Decorative Arts and a Master's Degree in Textile Design Innovation from Nottingham Trent University. Alan has been sewing pet portraits since 2016 and enjoys capturing emotions and character by stitch. He was recently featured on the BBC’s programme, ‘Make it at Market’ which has given him the confidence to expand and take a studio at Banks Mill. See Alan’s work here; https://stitchedbyalan.com/
