Grantham Museum Art Exhibitions
Banks Mill tenant Dawn Wesselby, along with her creative partner Anne-Marie Kerr, set up Grantham Arts as a Community Interest Company. Grantham Arts are looking to provide not only classes in creativity but the space and equipment that people can hire to create their own work, often after completing creative short courses.
With this in mind, Grantham Arts CIC has made arrangements to host monthly art exhibitions at Grantham Museum for a small fee and a commission to the museum. The museum is open Thursday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm. For a fee of £20 and 10% commission on any sales to the museum, artists can host their own exhibitions there for a whole month. The local press will also share the details of exhibitions in their social media as will the museum and Grantham Arts, to help promote artist's work.

Grantham Arts CIC have recently completed a project called 'My Grantham Family' funded by the recent High Street Action Zone funding from Historic England. They are in the process of installing the work in local shops and venues throughout the town centre to encourage people into the high street. The project engaged with local schools, brownies and the public with over 170 people taking part at various locations. A list of venues will be updated on the Grantham Arts website when the exhibition is officially launched at the end of March.
